Dry Season (June to October):

  • This is the best time for a safari. The weather is sunny, the roads are dry, and animals gather around rivers and water holes, making it easier to see them. The grass is short, and you can enjoy clear views of the plains. It is also the best time to witness the Great Migration in the Serengeti.

Green Season (November to May):

  • During this season, the parks are green and beautiful. It’s less crowded, and you can see lots of baby animals and birds. The rain usually falls in short periods and does not stop you from enjoying your safari.

January to March:

  • January to March is great for seeing newborn animals and for photography.
  • June to October is best for easy wildlife viewing and classic safari weather.

Day 0: Arrival in Arusha

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our friendly driver will be waiting to welcome you. then drive you to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your long flight and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful town. Take some time to rest, refresh, and get ready for your exciting safari adventure that starts the next day.

If you arrive earlier in the day, we can arrange a short Arusha city tour for you. You can visit colorful local markets, taste delicious Tanzanian coffee, explore small craft shops, or simply meet the friendly local people who make this city so special. Your overnight stay in Arusha will give you a perfect start before your safari begins.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, about 2.5 hours from Arusha. You will carry lunch boxes and enjoy a full-day game drive.

Tarangire is famous for its huge elephant herds, beautiful baobab trees, and a peaceful atmosphere. The park also has lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and many kinds of birds. Your guide will take you through different areas of the park to see as many animals as possible. You will stop for a picnic lunch near the river and continue with afternoon game drive until evening.After the adventure, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will start your journey to the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands. On the way, you can stop at a Maasai village to meet the local Maasai people and learn about their traditions, songs, and lifestyle. You’ll arrive in the Seronera area  of Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is one of the most famous parks in the world  known for its endless golden plains and the Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

You wake up early in the morning  to see the sunrise in the Serengeti. Early morning is the best time to see lions and leopards as they hunt. The golden light makes it perfect for photos. After breakfast, you will continue exploring Serengeti, enjoying the open plains and the beauty of nature. After the morning game drive, you will drive to  Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the evening.You will relax at your camp and enjoy the view of the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater → Karatu

After breakfast, you will drive down into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful natural wonders in Africa. This crater was formed millions of years ago after a big volcano exploded and collapsed, leaving behind a large, round valley filled with wildlife. It is now home to over 25,000 wild animals — including elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, and even the rare black rhino, which is hard to find in other parks.

As you drive across the crater floor, you’ll be surrounded by amazing scenery — open grasslands, small lakes, and acacia forests. You will also see many kinds of birds, such as flamingos, eagles, and crowned cranes. Every corner of the crater offers a new surprise, so keep your camera ready!Around midday, you will stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, where you can relax and watch the hippos playing and splashing in the water. It’s a peaceful moment to enjoy your meal while surrounded by nature.

After lunch, you will slowly drive up the steep crater wall, taking in the last beautiful views from the rim. Then you’ll continue with your journey to Karatu town, a green and quiet area near the Ngorongoro highlands. Once you arrive, you can rest, take a shower, and enjoy a warm dinner at your lodge. It’s a perfect place to relax after a long and exciting day of game viewing.

Day 5: Lake Manyara to Arusha / Airport

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and diverse parks. Although it is small compared to other parks, Lake Manyara is full of life and offers an amazing variety of wildlife and landscapes. The park is most famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are often seen relaxing on the branches of acacia trees. You may also spot large troops of baboons playing by the roadside, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes moving through the forest and open plains.

As you explore, you’ll see the beautiful Lake Manyara, a shallow soda lake that shines with pink from thousands of flamingos and other colorful birds. Bird lovers will truly enjoy this place — it’s home to more than 400 bird species, making it one of the best birding destinations in Tanzania. Your game drive will take you through green forests, open grasslands, and the lake shore, giving you plenty of opportunities to take wonderful photos.

The peaceful atmosphere of the park makes it a relaxing way to end your safari adventure. Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha or continue to the airport for your flight home, carrying unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, nature, and warm hospitality.
