Full Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park
Start your adventure with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to Zanzibar Airport for a scenic flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your first thrilling game drive in the Central Serengeti (Seronera area).
Explore the endless golden plains and spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, zebras, cheetahs, and leopards in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic or hot lunch in the park surrounded by nature, then continue with an afternoon game drive to catch more wildlife sightings. Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Track herds of wildebeest, zebras, and other wildlife while capturing incredible photographs of the African landscape. After the morning safari, depart Serengeti and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, where rolling hills, farmlands, and Maasai villages offer a glimpse of rural Tanzanian life.
Optionally, visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture, traditions, and lifestyle. Arrive at your lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater, such as Ang’ata tented lodge, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay overlooking the crater area.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater → Zanzibar
Wake up early for breakfast and prepare for an exciting descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in Africa. Spend the morning on a half-day safari inside this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to Africa’s Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and black rhinos.
Also spot hippos, flamingos, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After your safari, ascend the crater rim and drive to the Arusha airport for your flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer back to your hotel, bringing an unforgettable African safari experience to a close.
