After breakfast, our professional and friendly guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Arusha National Park, a compact yet diverse park located at the foothills of Mount Meru. Despite its small size, the park offers a rich mix of landscapes—from lush montane forest and open savannah to crater lakes and alpine scenery.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy guided activities including game drives and a walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. Expect close encounters with giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and playful colobus monkeys, along with excellent birdwatching opportunities. The Momela Lakes add scenic beauty, often dotted with flamingos depending on the season.
Your day is crowned with breathtaking views of Mount Meru and, on clear days, Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. After a picnic lunch inside the park, you will continue exploring before returning to Arusha town or the airport.

Day 1 : Arusha Town to Arusha National Park
After breakfast, our knowledgeable guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Arusha National Park. On arrival, you will begin your scheduled activities, which may include a game drive through open savannah and forested areas, as well as a guided walking safari for a more immersive experience.
The park is home to giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and various antelope species, along with over 400 bird species. You will explore the Momela Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater viewpoints while enjoying stunning mountain scenery. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before you continue wildlife viewing and later return to Arusha town or the airport.
